The Paint Department is responsible for painting sets, props and signs on a production.

General understanding and interest for the art and design
Ability to plan and communicate an artistic vision within budget
Ability to work independently, multitask and problem-solve
Interest in making creative use of material
A combination of demonstrated skills such as drawing and painting, artistic ability, experience painting for television, commercials or theatre, commercial sign writing, hand lettering, layout, faux finishing, breakdown, colour theory, use of unconventional materials.
